All ZR-1's were equipped with a 6 spd manual transmission. This ZR-1 also has a Hurst short throw shifter.

The ZR-1 option provided, in addition to the LT5 engine performance package, all options available to standard Corvettes except for two: dual removable tops and electronic air conditioning. This ZR-1 has both tops but is 1 of only 14 to have the standard manual A/C, making it somewhat of a rarity.
